As part of its LIFT: Together We Rise initiative, Vivian’s Door has partnered with Interise, a national nonprofit with award-winning small business programs, to offer StreetWise MBA. The program is a get-in-the-trenches, peer-based learning approach with industry experts, mentors, and instructor insight that addresses the racial wealth gap head-on – helping you create wealth for your business, employees, and the community. This program targets firms in South or Central Alabama or the Gulf Coast, identifies CEO-level executives from disadvantaged and underserved communities, and provides these business owners with the support network, training resources, and motivation required to build, sustain, and scale within designated communities and marketplaces.
To date, companies who have taken StreetWise MBA have developed a pivot and recovery strategy, 20% have experienced revenue growth, and 30% have rehired or hired new staff. Together, we can do it again — small business owners, this network is here for you.
