When the System Pauses, the People Rise: November Food Distributions Amid the Shutdown
When headlines discuss shutdowns and cutoffs, our community talks about solutions. With SNAP benefits halted, families across our region are bracing for hard choices — but once again, our people are proving that compassion doesn’t wait for permission.
This November, churches, community partners, and local leaders are coming together to ensure that every table has something on it. Below you’ll find several free food distributions happening throughout the month — no red tape, no judgment, just neighbors helping neighbors.
All details are also listed on our Community Calendar, which we’ll continue updating as new times and locations are confirmed. You can find the calendar on our website, through our social media pages, or on local community bulletin boards.
