Community across the Gulf Coast is built in many different spaces. It happens in classrooms and coffee shops. At health fairs, vendor markets, and neighborhood gathering places. It happens through conversations about history and democracy, through access to resources, and through opportunities for local businesses and young people to grow.
This September, find something that speaks to you. Attend an event. Share a resource. Support a local business. Learn something new.
Sometimes, strengthening the community starts simply by showing up.
